what it is to be chinese:
1.to know that you are forever indebted to your parents and they will always remind you of the fact until which time they are not able to
2.never mention the death of your elders while they are still living
3.that you are expected to get married and procreate for the good of all
4.the good name of the family is paramount and to let it down is akin to 1st degree man slaughter
5.moving out of your parents' house to be independent is ALSO akin to 1st degree man slaughter
